Gus At Orvis

Every Monday, I shoot sporting clays with a group of friends at Orvis Sandanona in Millbrook, NY.  It is a lot of fun hitting and missing clay pigeons and bearing the catcalls and praises of long-time shooters while no one is keeping score.  At Orvis, I have taken shooting lessons and fly fishing lessons with my family, learning skills that will last a lifetime.  We are very lucky to have this resource in our area, and I support their outreach to the region.  The Game Fair is a lot of fun and includes sponsorships by everyone from Barbour to Land Rover, as well as many local vendors who make high-quality apparel and artisan foods.  It is a great family event that includes fly-casting demonstrations, birdhouse painting, dog training demonstrations, food trucks, and much more.  You can bring your dog(s), spend the day, and never get bored.

We have a booth at the fairgrounds and are there to answer any questions, architectural or otherwise.

Again, Orvis Game Fair Saturday, September 16th and 17th, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m..  Free and open to the public.
