Living Room with Bookcases and Fireplace
Living rooms are the place we gather with friends and family. They come in all sizes, shapes, and decors, and are as diverse as families themselves. In my living room, it is not uncommon for us to light a fire in the fireplace in front of the couch and then watch TV in the corner of the room. Not a perfect setup, but my home is an old farmhouse from the 1790s that has been added onto over the centuries, and I wouldn’t change it for the world.
Fireplaces anchor a room and create an ambiance that cannot be reproduced. Whenever possible, we make the living room fireplace a focal point and gathering place.
