Mo, Greeting Me First Thing In The Morning

Mo, Greeting Me First Thing in the Morning

Even when I have a tough day ahead, I cannot ignore the joyous greetings of our four dogs first thing in the morning.  Mo, whose fur seems to paint a smile on her face, is the most exuberant of the lot and refuses to take no for an answer when it comes to affection.  In reality, it is hard to have a tough day when I sit on the porch in the Spring, drinking my coffee, listening to the birds, then walk through my vegetable garden on the way to feed the sheep with my wife.

Seeds I planted a little over a week ago are sprouting, and lettuce plants I planted at the same time have already made it to the dinner table. More are waiting to be harvested.

Meanwhile, Oliver, showing a little grey, can’t wait to harass the sheep.
