I admit it, I love to look into fireplaces and let my mind wander. That constantly changing display of flames leaping and dancing can keep me enthralled for hours. Better yet, it is the perfect background for gatherings and quiet conversations. Fireplaces are often are part of the core of the home.

Hi James, enjoyed your selection of fireplaces. Our market, which is the Hudson Valley and Fairfield County in Connecticut, has a renewed interest in wood burning fireplaces. Our Governor has passed legislation discouraging the use of gas appliances, including fireplaces. There has been a great deal of ‘pushback’ so it’s debatable how it will turn out. Considering the number of gas fireplaces, gas-fired furnaces, gas stoves, and woodburning units with Gas Logs, the political pushback may alter this plan. But, those changes are probably in the future. And, unlike natural gas, the supply of wood, in this part of the country, is enormous. Jack
