Boots, Drawers, and Cubbies

Sometimes, you just need a place to put your hat, gloves, and boots, like cubbies.  Although these places may be part of a larger mudroom, they can also just fit into a hallway or unused space near a garage or kitchen.  By adding coat hooks and cubbies, a hallway can be immediately transformed into a mudroom.
