Addition-Renovation

I remember as a child, climbing around construction sites.  I found them fascinating, and perhaps those truant visits helped stir my interest in being an architect.  I particularly like the details as the project comes together.

Jobsite visits are always fun.  They get us out of the office where we can see what was conceived on paper (or a screen).  We also have a chance to talk to the craftspeople who are building our projects.  I am always impressed with the care and the attention to detail that our contractors bring to our job sites.

Incorporating a sundial into the stonework of the exterior fireplace is a wonderful, playful detail!
