This family getaway in upstate New York combines modern interiors with an exterior rooted in the American farmhouse. We worked closely with Susana Simonpietri of Chango and Co. to achieve the owner’s vision of a modern country farmhouse. We combined rustic beams with concrete countertops to create the counterpoint of old and new and repeated that theme throughout the home. Tall ceilings and wide porches allowed for great views and outdoor living spaces.
In some ways, it feels like a little bit a Brooklyn loft space overlooking the beautiful Hudson Valley.
