To break up my focus on shoveling snow and chipping ice out of the animal’s water buckets, I thought I would remind everyone that spring and summer will come again and a nice cool drink will be appreciated.
Set in the rolling hills of the Berkshires, this open air pavilion with fireplace and kitchen completes the poolside entertaining package. The nights can be a little cool in the Berkshires even in the summer. The fireplace takes the chill off, while the generous roof lines shade from the sun.

This is so lovely…I especially love the stone that is all flush. What type of stone is it? I saw stone cut to be flush like this in Carmel, but this isn’t something we see in the Midwest. This is a great blog.
If you mean the deck material, that is bluestone. Thanks
Mr. Crisp, I think the previous poster was asking about the stone used to cover the outdoor fireplace- incidentally, this is a delightful little project!
Thanks. I’ll try to find out what we used there.
