Overall View of Kitchen

White kitchen cabinets always remind me of the beautiful butlers’ pantries in turn of the century great estates.  Tall cabinet doors and glass panes and solid hardware made a functional yet stunning place to work.  White kitchen cabinets never seem to go out of style-and if they do, it is easy to change the color.  In my own kitchen, we have changed the wall colors several times, but never changed the white cabinets.  Almost any counter and floor material work well with neutral cabinet colors.  With a mixture of solid and glass doors, we have the option to display our crystal and hide our canned peas.  In this picture, the only thing missing is some friends and family giving advice on how to cook dinner.

This kitchen is stunning. My husband and I are building in Buffalo NY and have started the process with an architect locally. However I came across your website via Houzz.com and fell in love with your designs. My husband contacted your office to speak with you. Is there a better way to get in touch with you to discuss our options. We love your work and look forward to hearing from you! Thank you! Shawna Johnson

I love the transom window over the pantry door! What a great idea to bring light into the pantry closet. I also love the floor boards.

Thanks. Some of that was existing, but I’ll take the credit.

    Hello Jim
I stumbled across your blog while searching for the right white kitchen cabinets to choose for a kitchen renovation for our 1907 farmhouse in Arlington VA. The above kitchen has the cabinet ‘look’ I’m going for. Would you please tell me what company makes them and the name of the door style please?
Instead of continuing on with my other daily tasks, I’ve really enjoyed spending the last hour reading many of the other articles in your blog instead! They’re really great and I know I’ll be coming back to read more. Thank you.

Timeless and beautiful. I love the podium lighting and was hoping you could tell me where I can find it. I have seen this lighting in one other kitchen photo over a span of 4 months. I would enjoy that style of over my kitchen island. Thank you for your time.

I’ll ask where the owner got it.

Oh, thank you Mr. Crip!! That would be wonderful if you can ask homewoners. I have taken your photos to 3 different light companies in the Austin area, and nobody can help me. Thank you again for taking the time to find out, I will check back, as we are almost at the lighting stage of our kitchen and these lights would be a perfect fit!

    Mr. Crisp,
This kitchen is the exact layout of my current kitchen that I am planning to remodel. I would love to duplicate it as much as possible. Would you be able to share product information such as cabinet supplier, lighting supplier, etc? This kitchen is perfect! Great design! Thanks for your help.
