Paneled Wall

Painted Paneled Wall

There are an infinite number of ways to finish the walls of a home.  Choices can run the gambit from a variety of colors, textures, and fabrics, to exotic materials of every sort.  Most homes we design have a number of different wall treatments which vary room to room.  The most common finish is sheetrock and paint, but within that simple category, there are a world of colors and textures.

Mr. Crisp, a general question about treating the surfaces of natural materials used indoors, such as the pine selected for the bathroom photo, above: do you leave the material untreated and allow time to darken the wood, or do you prefer to control the color by applying a light stain and transparent sealant?

As always, I always enjoy admiring the clean detailing of your projects.

Thank you! In this case we left it natural, but other times we put a clear sealer or a stain on the wood.

Can you tell me where to get the sink in your bathroom picture aboveboard? We are looking for one for our bathroom that does not have room for a 6 ft vanity. Thank you!

A little off topic but I’ve been searching for the bronzed vertical faucet seen in the Rustic Pine bathroom, are those original bronze faucets or plated? That bathroom looks amazing by the way. I really like how the bronze and white porcelain come together throughout.

    Thanks

Beautiful work! Is the sink in the pine bath vintage or do you have a source for those types of sinks? Thank you!

Love, love this whole style of the Rustic pine picture. I love the sink, the lights and the faucets. Do you think there is anyway to find out where the owner or if the owner would willing to say where they purchased them?

Hi Mr. Crisp! Your work is awesome. You were recommended by a good friend of mine for some house renovation because he already seen your work and he was very impressed. I checked on your website/blog and found how amazing and well-detailed your work is. I’m looking forward to get an appointment with you and show you my little adobe and to check how much will it cost for the renovation. Thank you and God Bless!
