3-D Sketch Before

The world of computer graphics has changed completely since I started my architectural practice.  We now regularly use computer imaging to make quick sketches of proposed design ideas and use renderings of projects to let our clients know exactly what their home or addition will look like.

It is amazing to me how realistic these renderings can be.  Although we are known for our modern versions of traditional homes, sometimes our clients want big panes of glass and modern details in their homes.  Although we have not added any of these to our portfolio, we have designed some quite modern projects with the same attention to proportion and detail that we always provide.

3-D imaging helps both our clients and us understand the subtleties of our designs.  To be honest I still really appreciate a physical model that I can hold and set onto the actual job site, but who doesn’t like a pretty picture.

I am proud to say our built homes look even better than the renderings.
